1969 Rambler/ AMC - Hurst S/C Rambler SCRambler
With a total production of 1512 units the guys from Kenosha really put one over on the big three. As a basis for this production “Race Car” the Rambler guys used the ever faithful and ultra lightweight (3000 pound) Rambler American. Under the hood they placed their big 390 cubic inch V/8 pumping out 325 horsepower. Breathing with a 625 cfm Carter 4 BBl carburetor and through one of the boldest functional hood scoops ever seen, this car rocked. If that wasn’t enough for you also available was one of the wildest paint schemes ever to come from any automotive manufacturer ever. This is paint Scheme “A”.

Rambler scrambler
very nice description for this car! American muscle car have supreme power underneath those behemoth hood, packed with cold air intake and other engine enhancements that would give additional horsepower to each pistons.
Scrambler
I had one of these in 1976-78 and remember blowing away a many a Mustang and Camaro stoplight to stoplight. Usually, the other guy's first comment was, "Whoever thought of hot rodding a Rambler?" Their second comment was, "That little car is fast!"
