Camaro - My "LUCY" 1969 Camaro

I bought this 1969 Camaro in 2001 from a kid I pulled over on a traffic stop in Fresno,CA. I made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and he sold it to me for $3,500 (No ticket given). "Lucy" was chemically stripped to bare metal and received a full restoration with ALL areas upgraded. Currently, she has a 350 V8 with a huge cam, headers and custom exhaust which sets off car alarms in the shopping centers,etc. :-) She'll receive a GM crate ZZ502 spring of 2009. She sports the period correct Cragar SS wheels that were all the rage back then. She was abused on the track for years and now is pampered and cherished. Thank you for allowing me to show her. I hope you all like her.

Everyone seems to love naming their cars, I've seen gone in 60 seconds and admired Eleonor. I wonder if this car was included in the movie. With all said this is one of the most powerful cars I've ever seen. If bolted with performance auto parts the car run within 10 seconds in a quarter mile.

I've seen the film too lots of car wrecked but most of them are rare and exotic.I've been wondering what kind of auto parts they need to keep the car running like that, and speaking of eleonor she blasts like a rocket.

Lucy really looks fast! This a great restoration for a 40 year old car, some autoparts of this make is really hard to find. But fortunately there are vendors that is willing to re-manufacture these engine elements that has been produce few years ago. Looking forward to see more ancient cars getting its former glory back.
