Eddie Carpenter's 71 Chevelle has a brand new 496 Stroker motor under the hood. It connects to the 3.73 Posi rear end they rebuilt through a new Muncie 4 speed. This 71 Chevelle has a new 3 inch exhaust system with a single chamber Flow Master muffler.

Eddie and his son also redid the springs and suspension. They have done all the work on the 71 Chevelle themselves. It is a great show car and is drivable. They keep it garaged most of the time but drive 3 or 4 days a week.

Eddie had a 1969 396 SS Chevelle when he was a kid and then had an '81 Vette he had to let go before he purchased this 71 Chevelle.
