Chevelle - 1972 Chevelle SS 454 by Tom

powder coated frame with drivetrain installed Muscle Car: Chevy Chevelle SS
Year: 1972
Engine: 454
Condition: Restored
bottom freshly painted with por15

I purchased the Chevelle in Las Vegas. I performed a frame off restoration, Complete with powder-coated frame and stainless steel brake and fuel lines. I media-blasted the body to bare metal and painted it with the original code 65 Flame Orange Metallic in a two stage formula and painted the black deck stripes under the clear coat. I built the 454 engine with 525 HP and and rebuilt the Muncie 4 speed and 12-bolt differential with 3.73 ratio gears. I had a new black vinyl top installed and the interior has been reupholstered with stock fabrics. My goal was for the car to look stock until you lift the hood.

How great it is to see a car

How great it is to see a car getting back to its former glory. These cars are absolutely made to last and be remembered for a life time. It needs a lot of attention to it's interior and exterior while engine components like muffler parts will surely enhance its performance.
