I purchased the car back in 1987 with 97,000 mi. for $250.00. The engine & trans were gone. I put in a bored 355 4 bolt main block with a comp cams 292H magnum cam .501 lift, magnum roller tip rockers, pushrods and valve springs. TRW forged 10.0:1 flat top pistons, ARP rod bolts, Melling high volume oil pump, Cloyes double roller timing chain, Flo-kooler water pump, Modine 3-row radiator, 72cc 1.94/1.50 cast iron power pack heads with Manley stainless steel valves, Mallory magnetic breakerless distributor, MSD 8mm wires and Blaster 2 coil, Edelbrock Performer RPM dual plane hi-rise aluminum intake, Holley HP mechanical fuel pump, Holley 4150 750 double pumper carb., 350 Turbo Hydramatic 3-spd. automatic trans with B&M shift kit and TCI 10" 3500 RPM High stall converter, GM 8.2" 10 bolt positraction rear with USA 4.11 gears, Blackjack 1-5/8" headers, 2-1/2" aluminized dual exhaust with Dynamax Stainless steel turbo mufflers, Sun super tach, oil psi., water temp. and ammeter gauges. Painted Daytona yellow, factory 14"x7" rally wheels with BFGoodrich radial T/A tires. It dyno'd 370 HP at 5800 RPM. I built it for drag racing and ran a best ET of 12.6 in the 1/4 mile at 105 mph on Mickey Thompson ET Drag slicks at Maple grove raceway in Mohnton, PA
