Nova - 71 Nova SS

Muscle Car: Chevy Nova Nova SS Year: 1971 Engine: 406 CU IN Condition: Restored

Bought this car in 1999. After owning several musclecars including quite a few Novas I wanted one more built to my exact specs the way I would have purchased it Brand New from the dealer. After a couple years of hard work and dollars spent I thought I was satisfied ....Wronnnnnggggg. Everytime I turned around I was coming up with a new idea. Add this ,change this etc........ So finally after becoming bored with the solid white paint job I decided to add a Blk vinyl top. Car was originally Blue w/blue interior. Okay there it is I said. I got numerous compliments on the Blk/White combo but still that just wasn't it. Then I saw a couple of cars at carshows painted Cortez Silver. Finally one day I saw a Nova that color with no vinyl. That's it I said!!!!!!!!  So here we go again. After making a deal with a local body shop about 20 miles from my house I stripped off all the moldings and everything else I could and took it to them. This was April '08. Then it happened!!!!!!!! CANCER!!!!!! But miracleously with the help of GOD and Chemo I got to finish it up in Aug '09 just in time to make my favorite road trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn to the Fall Grand Rod Run. Yeah this is a true driver..... Daytona Turkey Run..... and anywhere else time and money permits. I don't know what the future holds or me but you can bet I'm gonna enjoy my Nova every chance I get!!!!!!!!!
