My name is Mark and I live near Milwaukee Wisconsin. My 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is red. The original color was Tripoli Turquoise and it might be painted back to that someday with the black vinyl roof.

I have owned the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro for over three years now. I got it from a guy at my old job and have been restoring it ever since. I originally started with a number matching car and decided I needed more power. I know, the people that love original cars are going to hate me.

I started the restore of my 1968 Chevrolet Camaro with a transmission swap by taking out the old powerglide and swapping in a 700r4 out of a 1988 IROC for the overdrive.

Last year I upgraded the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro's suspension all the way around and also the front end with PST parts and also PST polygraphite bushings. This year I decided to build a 383 stroker to replace the stock 327 of my 1968 Chevrolet Camaro and also upgrade the transmission again to go with the added horsepower.

I have done this all myself with the help of friends of course. When I first saw this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro I immediately fell in love with it and had to buy it. I love the smooth look of muscle cars.

The clubs I am currently in are Project Camaro www.projectcamaro.com, Muscle Syndicate www.musclesyndicate.com. I am currently the president of the Wisconsin chapter and looking for members! I am also a member of Brew City Muscle www.brewcitymuscle.com. I frequent many local carshows such as Solid Gold McDonalds, Jefferson, and also the Wisconsin Dells car show which is once a year. I plan on getting an old Chevrolet truck and also a Full size chevrolet car such as a Belair or Impala in the future.
