| Muscle Car: Dodge Challenger Year: 1972 Engine: 318 c.i. 4 bolt main Horsepower: 275 Transmission: 904 Rear End: 8 3/4 3.73 Sure Grip |
This 1972 Dodge Challenger belongs to Andrea. She bought the 1972 Challenger mostly restored online in November of 2005 from the Texas Toy Box when she fell in love with the color and matching interior.
The 318 c.i. Mopar motor has 275 horsepower and 300 ft/lb of torque and runs 14.8 @ 91 mph at the track. To get those figures Andrea added a 4 brrl eddy carb, chambered exhaust with side pipes, one inch overstock springs, 3.73 Sure Grip rear end to the to the headers and Mopar prefomance cam and the 904 transmission that the 1972 Dodge Challenger already had in it. Andrea aslo added front wheels at 17x8 and rear wheels at 17x9 1/2, front tires at 225/50 and rear tires at 275/50, a new gas tank and sender, new gas cap, hood pins and eyebrow moldings.
Andrea is 30 years old from South Jersey. She always wanted a 71 Cuda but loves the Challenger too. She is a member of the South Jersey Leadfooters Club.
She has about 13 trophies including: Top 40, Best Blue car, FIRST PLACE for her 1972 Dodge Challenger!
She takes her 1972 Dodge Challenger mostly to local car shows like, The Pumkin Run in English Creek NJ, The Bluberry Festival in Hammonton NJ, The Highland High School auto show, Chryslers of Carlisle in PA, this july will be my first time there, Hammonton Ford Auto show, Fuddruckers in Turnersville NJ, many other shows.

In the Barn
My dad drove a 72 challenger when I was groing up...It kills me to see it sitting in the barn and the mice are just tearing up the interior every time I visit the family farm... It was a hand me down and my cousin has rights to it now...I mentioned that I wanted it to restore and he said he wants to do the same...but I think I have more passion than he to actually get it done...Well I just wanted to say that your Challenger is a georgeous beauty of a vehicle and much respected by a lover of these awsome american muscle cars

Rodents do not like the smell of moth balls. I had squirrels nesting and they left soon after a box was applied.

1972 Dodge Power Wagon
I am the treasurer/firefighter with the Englishtown Fire Department a volunteer department. We are trying to value our brush 1972 Dodge Power Wagon Custom 300 4 x 4 all original with a 9 foot side step bed, missing some body chrome. The vehicle has no rust but is a little dings. The vehicle is a standard transmission with 13,000 original miles. We are trying to sell the unit to raise funds for a replacement truck. Do you know where we can find an estimated value for the vehicle or if you know of anyone who might be interested in purchasing this vehicle.
Thank you

just happen ran into this muscle page. i'm doing project on '73 challenger bought for $3,500 with 440 CID and 727 tranny. the seller practically parted bits and pieces parts, and electrical harnesses need replace; most of the stuff can be purchased but take times to restore to shipshape condition. luckily i can do mechanical and electrical work, that's main expense. right now i'm having pro body man doing body work. i love to upload pictures from beginning to end when is done. color scheme will be plum crazy pearls. original color was same blue as shown here. my son will do the vinyl 440 / six pack stripping on both sides. someone plz tell me how to upload pictures on this site??? 73plumcrazpearlsbob

A car this powerful needs
A car this powerful needs strong Brake calipers both at the rear and front end of the car. The torque of the car is very powerful and needs a lot of stopping power.
