This great 1970 Boss 302 Mustang belongs to John Welch from Gastonia, NC. He belongs to the Carolina Regional Mustang Club. When John was 17 years old he had a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang and purchased this Mustang to relive his childhood on eBay in October 2004.
John spent 5 months working on his 1970 Boss 302 Mustang show car. It has 3000 miles on the rebuilt Boss 302 c.i. engine, Holley carburetor and Moody cam along with the dual point ignition produce 500 horsepower and 485 ft/lb of torque. The 4 speed transmission and 3.91 Trac-Lock rear end get the power to the wheels while the DynaMax exhuast produce a wonderful sound.
John attends the AutoFairs at Lowe's Motor Speedway, local cruises, and the Dale Jarett car show. His 1970 Boss 302 Mustang has won Best in Show and Best in Class at the shows the John has taken it to.
