Our 72 Mach 1

Muscle Car: Ford Mustang Mach 1 Year: 1972 Engine: 351 Condition: Restored

My wife got a call at work from her Uncle Fred who was a car nut and never called her at work unless something was wrong. So after work off to Freds we went. There he was sitting next to this 72 mach1. It was in pretty good shape. But before we could start working on it with him he fell ill and past away. Kath said honey we're not letting this car go. So we took the Mach 1 and have been slowly getting it back into shape. The most fun so far has been taking it to Watkins Glen for thier opening day 3 laps. We even built a garage (I mean stable) to keep her out of the weather and to wok on her. This year new headers, dash and maybe carpet. Next year door panels and seats. That should pretty much do it. Oh Paint someday. It drives really nice handles great and sounds BAD. We are very happy to have her and hope Fred is looking UP and saying nice job guys. She will always be in our family.
