Mustang - 1964 1/2 Mustang by Mike Sipe

Red 64 Mustang Muscle Car: Ford Mustang Stock
Year: 1964 1/2
Engine: 289
Condition: Restored

I have had my Mustang (Big Red) for six years. My first car as a married man was a '66 Mustang Coupe, but had a 6 cyl. engine. My wife and I had been looking for a specific car and we found just what we wanted. I hope it never has to belong to anyone else. While not a "show car" it has won three awards in the past few years. This is a 289 4bbl, custom dual exhaust with headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Other than some minor interior engine modifications, it is pretty much stock. It has real spoke wheels (a dealer option in 64 1/2) and a luggage rack on the trunk (also a dealer option) and air conditioning (not an option until August of 64.) Big Red was born in Dearborn MI. in July of 1964. Thanks to some great Meguiar's products, it shines like new. I am very proud of Big Red. We named it Big Red because the school my wife and I graduated from were the Big Reds, Muskegon High School.
The picture I have included is me cleaning up Big Red for the Holland Car Show. We actually won a people's choice award! Good job, Big Red!

Mustangs

They sure don't build these cars like they use to.

Loving Big Red

You're lucky to have Big Red with you, it really is pretty, and it looks like you've put some window regulator and some other stuff... :D
