Muscle Cars: 1966 Mustang and 1968 Mustang by Andrea

Muscle Cars: Ford Mustangs
1968 Coupe: 289, Original AC car.
1966 Coupe: 289, Original "A" Code car.
2003 G.T.: 4.6 liter

Track times, top speed, any and all modifications to your car?
I have no track times. Have not gone that far yet just some street racing. No Mods. The 2003 G.T has a K&N but that's it. Still in the process of doing all that.

How long it took if you repaired or restored it.

The 1968 Mustang is still in the process of restoration. It will get a new paint job in the original Britney blue. And it will be getting a 302 engine.
The 1966 Mustang is almost done. The 289 engine has been rebuilt by my husband Randy. It just needs a fresh paint job.( Less than a year )
The 2003 G.T Mustang is stock.

If you did the modifications yourself or if a shop did them.

We are doing all the work ourselves, except the paint and body work.

When you bought it.
I bought the 1968 Mustang when I was 17 ( I am now 29). The 1966 Mustang we just bought less than a year ago From My husband's sister. And I bought the 2003 G.T Mustang when it was new.

Where you bought it.
Got the 1968 Mustang from someone in town, the 1966 Mustang from Randy's Sister( she owned it about 7 years.) And the 2003 I bought from Power Ford in Torrance, Ca.

What makes this car special to you?

Well, The 1968 Mustang is my favorite because it was my first car that I bought with my own money at 17. All the kids in my high school wanted the new cars, the pretty ones. But not me I wanted a classic! I saw this Mustang on the street with the for sale sign in the window and it was love at first sight. She needed a lot of work and a lot of love, but I was willing to do it. I was in auto shop class so I knew I could do some of the work myself. So I brought it home. And I have loved her ever since. The 1966 Mustang is special because it was in my Husband, Randy's Family, and I wanted to keep it that way once his sister told us she was going to sell it. Plus its a classic and you can't go wrong with a classic. And the 2003 G.T Mustang is my everyday driver for work. I work nights and my Father and Husband wanted something more modern to drive around in at night. But I still treat it like a classic, it gets washed and pampered the same.

About you:
Why are you interested in muscle cars?

My dad always had classic/Muscle cars my whole life. He was always working on them and we were always at car shows. My Grandfather raced cars when he was younger. I used to hand my dad tools when I was very small. I guess its just in my blood. Plus its fun to race them...

Why did you chose this car?
I think I just fell in love with the style of the Mustang. Its a great looking car, and I love working on them.

What clubs you are in?
Mustang clubs of America.

What car shows you go to?
Any I can. Mustangs at the Queen Mary, Labor day cruise....any local shows. Also love to go to the drag races...

What events you go to?
Anything to do with cars, or motor cycles.

What awards have you won? Sigh, none. (yet!!) lol...

Do you have any other muscle cars? I share a 1969 Camaro with my dad. Its also all original it has a column shifter. Its an SS. very nice car but it needs to be restored completely. My Husband Randy has a 1968 El Camino.
