Hurst shifter for a 69 Camaro

Hi guys I am new to this forum and I have a 69 Camaro that I am working on and I am going to be putting in a 383 stroker in it with a Borg Warner 4 speed trany with a hurst shifter and that year they had the Muncie trany in them can I use a hurst shifter for a 74 Camaro in it there shifter are offset were mine goes strat up or will mine work I just what to make sure before I cut the floor pan out Thanks
