I got discharged from the Marines and after I returned from Vietnam in 1969 I bought my first Muscle Car and it was a 1969 Plymouth 440 GTX. After all these years I came accross a GTX that I just couldn't resist buying. I bought my 1969 GTX from the original owner who lives a mile or two from my house. This car was built in the Los Angeles, California and has never left the state of California. I restored it ground up in 3 months (3 years ago). Engine was built by Santa Ana Speed. I have added over sized pistons, competition cam, valves and everything else. I also added an edlebrock heads and intake to accomodate my new six pack. I have also added exaust, two chamber flowmasters and electric cut outs which in my opinion every muscle car owner should invest in. This car puts out over 500 horse power at the rear wheels. This car rumbles as it goes down the street it sets off every car alarm on the block. The car was freshly repainted to its original color as well as new top. Car had original 40,000 miles now has 46,000. I paid $20,000 for the car and invested $30,000 to restore it. Total of $50,000.00. I have won numerous trophies for Best of Show, Best Muscle Car as well as Best Engine. This car in plain English hauls ass and if you want to replace the tires you can simply burn these off. Any questions feel free to e-mail me. George

Nice car
I really liked what you have done to your car. As a car enthusiast, i really try to upgrade my car with the latest electronics and gear. I would love to see more pictures of your car interior though.
Thanks...
Bad ass ride!
Talk about one hell of a ride. This is one bad ass machine. I don't think i've ever seen a GTX built up so well. This bad boy makes your stomach rumble when it passes by.
Hope to get one of these puppies for myself someday!
What an amazing car once again!
i love those old dodges
hey its good to see classic is still alive and well. Thats a nice example of GTX i used to live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and we had a drag race ways called bison and on a Sunday you would come and see a fair number of those GTXs and super bees, and road runners running from 14s to the low 10s on the race track they were hot then and they still are. Excellent car.
btw whats yours worth?
Take care
roadrunner
Iam a big mopar fan have been and will always be. I owned a 69 roadrunner. 383 mag. eng. what a car it was fast and handle very well.yes i sold it to pay some bill's. but then picked up a 1970. roadrunner 440. another great and fast car.mopar rock's.I sure miss my 69 rr. build in 8track and all.beep beep.
Excellent car
I realy like what you did with your car . My dad had one same like it . Excellent car !
good lack
power under the hood
The power of this car is top notch! The V8 engine packs a minimum of 400 horsepower, what is good about American muscles are they don't need to be turbo-charged to achieved that power. Naturally aspirated engines only needs typical Head Gasket Set to prevent any leaks from compressing gas and oil leaks.
