The original 440 is out and put away.  A '66 440, .030" over bore with 440Source rotating assembly and mildly ported 440Source heads has been built, dyno tuned and is now in the bay.  This motor is slightly hotter than stock at 505 cubic inches, 10.2:1 compression, 598hp and 651lb/ft torque.  Comp Cams XS290S, EDM lifters, and custom Smith Bros. pushrods internally, stock carbs, intake and valve covers externally; the only change that does not look stock are the 2" Doug's headers and soon to be 3" exhaust.

None

McLeod 12" B&B type clutch disc, pressure plate, and Hays 143 tooth flywheel.

2" Doug's D452 headers, 3" exhaust with h-pipe, 27" Dynomax Super Turbos, and 3" stock-appearing chrome tips.

None

None, stock 11 x 3" drums in front and 11 x 2" drums in back stop the car nicely.

None, stock-appearing G70-15 Firestone bias-ply tires all around.

Stereo?  Not in this one...

Hurst pistol grip shifter in place of the stock round shaft and woodgrain knob, for now.  Back to stock soon...
