The Show-n-Shine Cruiser Car Club is an Open Car Club in Union, South Carolina. Formed in August, 1988 they began with a few members and have now grown to 150 members and counting. They hold their annual car show, Around The Midway, at the Union County Fairgrounds in May. They have Club t-shirts for $10 each that are available at all meetings, cruise-ins, events, etc. while supplies last. The shirts are great to wear when they get together or when car showing or cruising with other car clubs.
The club participates in the following activities: $500 Annual Scholarship to Union High School Automotive Department; Adopt-A-Highway Program; Lockhart and Union Christmas Parades. All of the events are family oriented with no alcohol served. Throughout the year, they have several cruise-ins, monthly meetings, annual cook-out, Around The Midway Car Show, and a Christmas Party.

I would like to let you know a little about why we have started a Benefit for Amelia Padgett. Amelia is a 29 year old single female that has worked hard to provide a life for herself.
On February 4th 2009, she was in a terrible car accident. Amelia was ejected from the car landing on her head. She received head trauma, a broken collar bone, broken shoulder, torn rotor cup, broken Sabula, three broken ribs, shattered hip, broken pelvic, a punctured lung and liver, damage to her diaphragm, her spleen was ruptured, broken tail bone, a dislocated jaw with damage to her back teeth. Amelia has undergone 8 surgeries to date and was moved to Health South, in Columbia, SC. They worked with Amelia to teach her how to use the right side of her body to get out of bed to get into a wheel chair. At this time Amelia is not able to use her left side due to her injuries. Amelia is at her Mothers home, Due to the injuries she has to wait for the injuries to heal before they can start therapy.With the Benefit we are trying to raise money to help with all her medical expenses that has accrued due to the accident and future medical expenses.
The Poker Run will be two different Poker Runs running at the same time going in separate direction. We plan to start Motorcycles at Paul’s Grill & Bar in Saluda South Carolina and the Classic Cars, Hot Rods, Trucks and regular cars will be leaving out of Rosie’s Pizza and Pasta in Saluda South Carolina. First out at Both Places wii be 10:00a.m. last out is 12:00p.m..
$20.00 for first hand and meal

SC Peach Festival
Hey we would love to have you guys come to the 33rd annual SC Peach Festival car show this year. July 18th 2009 begins at 11am beside Gaffney City Hall.
